1. What the service is
All In On It lets one person (the Main Conspirator, or organiser) collect greetings — text, photos and short videos — from people they invite (Co-conspirators, or contributors) and reveal them as a themed web page to someone (the Special Person) on a chosen date.
The organiser sets up the mission, invites contributors, reviews every greeting and decides which ones appear on the page. No greeting is shown to the special person unless the organiser has approved it. The organiser also chooses the passcode that protects the page and decides who receives the link.
The service is currently in a pilot phase and is free to use. Features may change, be added or be removed while it matures.
2. Who may use it
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, in any role — to organise a mission, or (when that option exists) to sign in as a contributor.
- Contributors don't need an account. By sending a greeting you accept these terms on your own behalf. We don't ask contributors their age: if you are under 18, send your greeting with a parent or guardian's permission; if you are under 13, a parent or guardian should send it with you, from their device.
- You must not have been previously suspended from the service.
- Where the special person is under 18, the organiser must be their parent or guardian or have that person's permission, and is responsible for the mission being appropriate for a child.
3. Your account
You sign in with Google, Apple or a code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for everything done through it. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it.
Give us a real name and a working email address so that contributors know who is organising, and so we can reach you about your missions.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time. Deleting it deletes the missions you organise and any greetings of yours that are still pending; a greeting of yours already approved on a live page stays until that mission ends, unless you ask us to remove it too.
4. Your content: ownership, licence and responsibility
You keep what you make. A greeting, photo, video, reply or any other content you add ("your content") stays yours. We claim no ownership of it.
You give us permission to do what the service needs. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize, transcode, display and transmit your content, and to render it into share cards and other formats, solely to operate and improve the service. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies that live briefly in backups or caches.
You give the people it's for permission to enjoy it. By sending a greeting you allow the organiser to review it and, if approved, to show it on the mission page; and you allow the special person to view it, react and reply to it, and to share it onward — for example as an image to a social network or messaging app — together with their reply. If you're not comfortable with a greeting being shared beyond the page, don't send it.
You promise that you have the right to share it. For everything you add, you confirm that you created it or have permission from whoever did; that it doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights; that it isn't unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful to a child; and that any person appearing in a photo or video has agreed to appear. A video with music you don't own the rights to is the most common problem — if in doubt, leave the music out.
Responsibility. You alone are responsible for your content. The organiser is responsible for what they approve. We do not review greetings before they are shown and are not the publisher of them; we are the platform that hosts them, and we act on notices as described in section 7.
5. If you organise a mission
As the organiser you are the person who decides what the special person sees. That means you agree to:
- Create missions only for someone you know personally, where a surprise page about them is welcome and appropriate. When you set up a mission we ask whether the special person is under 18; if they are, you confirm that you are their parent or guardian or have that person's permission.
- Review every greeting before approving it. Anything you approve is your decision and your responsibility.
- Choose a passcode you haven't used elsewhere, and share the link and passcode only with the people who should have them. We can help you change a passcode, but we cannot undo a disclosure you or your contributors made.
- Tell your contributors anything they need to know about the mission, including any deadline. The service holds no contact details for contributors and does not remind them on your behalf.
- Delete the mission, or have greetings removed, if the special person or a contributor asks you to.
You agree to indemnify us — that is, to cover our losses and reasonable legal costs — against any claim by someone else that arises from a mission you organised or content you approved, except to the extent the claim was caused by our own breach of these terms.
6. If a page is about you
A mission is a gift, and gifts should be welcome. If a page exists about you and you would rather it didn't — or you would like a particular greeting removed — write to privacy@allinonit.com. You don't need an account, and you don't need to explain why. We will take the page (or the greeting) down and let the organiser know. The organiser's own copy of what they and their friends wrote is not affected.
We are not responsible for what the organiser or the contributors chose to say. If a greeting upsets you, we're sorry; our role is to remove it when asked, and we will.
7. Complaints and takedowns
If you believe content on the service infringes your rights, contains your personal information or image without permission, or breaks these terms, send a notice to privacy@allinonit.com with: the address of the page, which greeting you mean, what the problem is, and how to reach you. If you are acting for a rights-holder, say so.
We will acknowledge the notice, remove or disable access to the content while we look at it where the complaint is credible, tell the person who posted it (and the organiser) what was reported, and keep a record. We aim to act within 72 hours of a complete notice, and we decide such matters in good faith without taking sides in personal disputes. This address is also our grievance contact for the purposes of the intermediary rules that apply to us.
We may look at the content of a mission when — and only when — handling a complaint, a legal requirement or a safety concern. Every such access is recorded in an audit log.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to:
- Harass, threaten, humiliate or impersonate anyone, or organise a "mission" the special person would experience as an attack.
- Upload content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, or that sexualises or endangers a child.
- Upload viruses or malicious code, or attempt to access other people's missions, accounts or data.
- Guess passcodes, scrape pages, run automated tools against the service, or try to get around limits and security.
- Resell the service, or use it for advertising, spam or commercial promotion.
- Break any law that applies to you or to the people you're writing to.
We may remove content, suspend or close accounts, and end missions that break these rules, without notice where the matter is serious, and without refund.
9. Links, passcodes and traffic
Invite links, invite codes, page links and passcodes are shared at the risk of whoever shares them. Posting a page link publicly — on a social network, for example — may mean strangers try the page. The passcode protects the content, but we apply rate limits to logins, code entry and passcode attempts to keep everyone safe, and we may throttle, temporarily lock or suspend a mission that attracts abnormal traffic or repeated failed attempts. We are not liable for any consequence of a link or passcode being shared more widely than intended.
10. Reveal timing, availability and keeping your page
We make reasonable efforts to reveal each page at the time the organiser set, in the special person's timezone, and to keep the service available. We cannot guarantee either: internet services fail, providers have outages, timezones are complicated, and this is a small pilot. A page revealed late, early or not at all does not make us liable, though we will do our best to put it right quickly.
A revealed page stays live for one month, after which it is archived and its photos and videos are permanently deleted. The service is not an archive or a backup: if you want to keep greetings, save them before then. An organiser can delete a mission at any time, and deletion is final. We may also delete missions that have been inactive for a long time.
11. Fees and payments
The service is free during the pilot; the "unlock" step currently charges nothing. When paid missions are introduced, the price will be shown before you pay, the fee will be a one-off charge for a single mission, and these terms will be updated. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or we choose to refund at our discretion — for example if the service failed to work at all for your mission.
If you buy through an app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the purchase is handled by Apple or Google under their terms, including their refund rules.
12. Changes to the service and to these terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, including the whole of it, at any time. Where a change would remove something you're using, we will try to give reasonable notice and a chance to save your content. We may change these terms; the date at the top tells you when. If a change is significant we will tell signed-in organisers before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
13. Third-party services
Signing in with Google or Apple, email delivery, hosting, storage and video processing are provided by third parties (listed in the Privacy Policy). Their availability and behaviour are outside our control, and their own terms apply to your use of them. Sharing a greeting to a social network hands it to that network under its rules, not ours.
14. No warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose. In particular, we make no promise about how the special person, or anyone else, will react to a mission, and no promise that any greeting will be delivered, displayed or kept.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law gives you and doesn't let us exclude.
15. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of data, goodwill, enjoyment or anticipated savings, however it arises — including a spoiled surprise, a disappointing page, a greeting that offended someone, or a page that was revealed at the wrong moment.
- We are not liable for content created by users, for the conduct of any user, or for disputes between users.
- Our total liability to you for everything arising out of the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the mission concerned in that period, or USD 3.
These limits apply whether a claim is based on contract, negligence, tort or anything else, and even if we were told the loss was possible. They do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that we can't settle between us will be brought in the courts of New Delhi, India, and you agree to their jurisdiction. If the law where you live gives you protection that cannot be taken away by this clause, you keep it.
Before starting any formal proceedings, please write to us at privacy@allinonit.com. Most problems are misunderstandings, and we would much rather fix them than argue about them.
17. General
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer this agreement to anyone else; we may transfer it to a company that takes over running the service, and will tell you if we do. Notices to you may be sent to the email address on your account.
